A memorable moment worth finding again: accidental comedy, unexpected talent, a fascinating explanation, a strange encounter, or a creative internet original.

Popularity isn’t a qualification. Millions of views or obscurity don’t decide whether something belongs. Neither does whether it matches your personal taste.

Routine TV/movie excerpts, ordinary music uploads, promotional material, and clips needing lots of outside context generally don’t qualify. An extraordinary moment, creative transformation, or distinctive life online can make an exception.

Short is helpful. Longer videos should justify the time. If you’re unsure, skip without voting.

Your account and choices

Google sign-in identifies your account. We store your Google account identifier, favorites, votes and their history, viewing history within this site, submissions, and reports. We don’t request access to your YouTube account or store your Google password.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage to remember discovery history. Other visitors cannot see your account identifier or favorites. Votes have equal weight; reputation weighting is not active.

YouTube embeds, thumbnails, and Google Fonts connect to those providers. Their own privacy practices apply. Removing your account deletes its saved choices and account-linked history; submitted video records may remain in the collection.
